From the moment Julie sang the
blessing for the dinner, my
husband and I knew we had
selected the perfect band for
our reception. Modern Manners
exceeded our expectations on
every level. From Frank Sinatra
to Michael Jackson; if we shut
our eyes it was hard to tell if
it was live or a CD. Our dance
floor was packed the entire
reception with everyone from our
college friends to my
grandmother dancing and having a
great time. The band was
professional, on-time and a joy
to work with throughout the
planning process. If you are
looking for a band that will
really make your event something
to remember, I highly, highly

I just wanted to take a moment
to let you know what a wonderful
job your band Modern Manners did
at our wedding. After returning
from our honeymoon, all of our
friends and relatives called
commenting on how good you were.
Thank you for doing your part
to make our special day as great
as it was. When we first
considered hiring your band, we
had no idea just how amazing you
really were. We know that you
were very talented by seeing
your alter ego, Doghouse, at
some of the more respectable
pubs around the area and we knew
that we wanted a band that could
rock. However, by adding the
dimension of keyboards and your
excellent acoustic set, you went
beyond our expectations. You
were able to set the right tone
for the dinner set and still
were able to gain momentum and
get people dancing as it got
later into the evening. It was
also appreciated that you were
able to learn our special
request song "Iris" and perform
it so well. Your rapport with
the audience was also funny and
fitting for the occasion. I
think what makes your band
stand out from the other wedding
bands is your ability to play
the right songs at the right
time and to gauge what is
appropriate. I also think
that your beautiful multi-part
vocal harmonies separate you
quite a bit. Each member of
your band has the ability
to take the mic and sing a
song, which makes you extremely
versatile. Your performance of
the Eagles hit "Seven Bridges
Road" was simply amazing! It
sounded like a choir was
employed! I think that it is a
rare thing indeed to have so
many talented musicians that can
sing so well together. Being a
bit of an amateur guitar player
myself, I also found your
guitarist to be quite
exceptional and it was nice to
hear all the classic guitar
lines done justice. Anyway, best
of luck with your band in the
future and know that we will
recommend Modern Manners to all
of our friends. You did an
excellent job and went well
beyond our already high
expectations.

I
wanted to thank you and Modern
Manners for making our
wedding at The Warren Conference
Center in Ashland a great
success. The music from the
ceremony to the reception was
perfect. Our guests raved about
the band. It was over too
